Nepal flood wipes out settlements — at least 17 dead, hundreds missing

At least 17 people were killed and hundreds remain missing after a flash flood struck the Nepal-Tibet border area, wiping out entire settlements. Those unaccounted for include tourists from the UK, Australia and South Korea. Preliminary findings suggest an earthquake may have triggered the disaster.
