Country music legend Dolly Parton dies aged 80

Dolly Parton, the beloved American singer-songwriter, actress and philanthropist, died on Tuesday at the age of 80, her family announced. Over six decades in the music industry she released 49 studio albums, won 10 Grammy Awards and 13 Academy of Country Music Awards, and scored 26 number-one country hits. She was also widely celebrated as a businesswoman and philanthropist.
