Israel seizes UN vocational training centre for Palestinians in east Jerusalem

Israeli forces seized a vocational training centre operated by UNRWA in the Qalandia area of east Jerusalem. The centre, established in 1952, provides vocational training to around 340 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank each year. The raid was condemned by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and is the latest in a series of Israeli moves targeting the UN agency.
