Finance Ministry: Nawrocki's vetoes cost state budget 8 billion zloty

Poland's Finance Ministry calculated that President Karol Nawrocki's vetoes will reduce this year's state budget revenues by over 8 billion zloty. Presidential Palace spokesman Rafał Leśkiewicz dismissed the figures, calling the attempt to hold the president responsible for the state of public finances "clumsy manipulation." The Palace insists that responsibility for the country's financial condition lies with the government.
