Man glued his urethra shut with superglue to self-treat incontinence

A 41-year-old man in Iran spent two weeks inserting superglue into his urethra to treat incontinence, according to a published medical case report. The glue initially appeared to help, but after four days his urine output dropped sharply and urination became increasingly painful. By the time he visited a clinic — two weeks after stopping the superglue — he could barely urinate at all and was in constant pain. Doctors found a solid foreign body lodged in his urethra.
