"Backrooms" hits HBO Max on September 25 — A24's biggest box office hit ever

"Backrooms," directed by Kane Parsons and A24's biggest box-office hit ever with $396.5 million earned worldwide, will begin streaming on HBO Max in the US on Friday, 25 September. It will also air on traditional American television the following day, 26 September. The film grossed $81.2 million domestically, far exceeding pre-release projections of around $30 million.
