Flash floods sweep away Himalayan villages in Nepal — 8 dead, many missing

A wall of water swept down a Himalayan river valley on the border between Nepal and Chinese-controlled Tibet, killing at least eight people and leaving others missing. The floods destroyed entire villages in their path.
