Americans seek psychedelic therapy abroad — and face serious risks with little recourse
Growing numbers of Americans are travelling abroad to psychedelic therapy clinics, often in vulnerable psychological states. If mistreated or injured, they have little legal recourse against foreign providers. The lack of regulation and oversight at these clinics exposes patients to serious risks.
