Putin can now seize firms that fail to protect against Ukrainian drone attacks

Vladimir Putin has signed a decree allowing the Russian state to take control of critical infrastructure facilities whose private owners fail to protect them against Ukrainian drone attacks, according to the Associated Press. The measure is intended to pressure owners into making repairs and investing in defences. It represents a significant expansion of state powers over private property in wartime Russia.
