Orlen to triple Norwegian output to 9 mn boe with three new fields
Polish energy giant Orlen is set to develop three new Norwegian oil and gas fields — Idun Nord, Alve Nord and Ørn. The fields will boost the company's Norwegian output from 3.3 to 9 million barrels of oil equivalent per year by 2027. Orlen used existing infrastructure to cut costs and extend its operational life at least until 2040.
