Fake pumas in Poland: AI-generated "evidence" sent authorities on wild chase

Reports of pumas spotted across several Polish regions prompted responses from emergency services and local authorities, but some of the evidence turned out to be AI-generated and one video showed an ordinary cat. Experts are warning that similar AI-fuelled false alarms could in future be triggered around far more serious threats.
