Air raid sirens accidentally triggered across five districts in eastern Poland

On Sunday morning, air-raid sirens sounded for three minutes across Zamość and four districts of the Lublin region after an operator pressed the wrong button during a test of a new alert system. The same system was introduced to fix failures from the night of 30 July, when sirens were not activated in 10 districts following the incursion of a Russian missile into Polish airspace.
