Nawrocki's vetoes could cost Poland's state budget billions of zlotys
According to calculations by the Polish Finance Ministry cited by Rzeczpospolita, President Karol Nawrocki's vetoes this year could result in multi-billion-zloty shortfalls in state revenue. Presidential spokesman Rafał Leśkiewicz dismissed the assessment, calling it "clumsy manipulation". The dispute over the fiscal cost of the president's vetoes has become a prominent public controversy.
