CBOS poll: Volhynia massacres and welfare benefits top reasons Poles give for cooling towards Ukrainians
A CBOS survey commissioned by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna found that Poles most frequently cite the Volhynia massacres, social welfare benefits for Ukrainian refugees, and Russian propaganda as reasons for their worsening attitude towards Ukrainians. The results reveal a clear political divide, with supporters of the ruling coalition and the opposition attributing the cooling differently. The findings point to growing social tensions around the Ukrainian issue in Poland.
