Heatwave above 30°C and violent storms to hit Poland from Friday, west worst affected

After a brief calm spell, Poland faces a sharp deterioration in weather from Friday, with temperatures exceeding 30°C followed by severe thunderstorms. Western Poland and parts of the north are expected to be hit hardest by the dangerous conditions.
