TV licence exemption: pension under PLN 4,616.56 qualifies

Pensioners whose monthly retirement benefit does not exceed PLN 4,616.56 gross are eligible for an exemption from the mandatory RTV licence fee. The fee is subject to inspections and non-payment carries a financial penalty. The exemption must be formally applied for — a low pension alone does not cancel the obligation automatically.
