Moroccan minister calls Ceuta "occupied" — Morocco renews claims against Spain

Moroccan Minister of Islamic Affairs Ahmed Toufiq described the Spanish enclave of Ceuta as an "occupied" city and called for its "liberation", speaking in the presence of King Mohammed VI. Ceuta is a Spanish territory on the North African coast that has long been a subject of dispute between Madrid and Rabat. The remarks signal a renewed push by Morocco to challenge Spanish sovereignty over the enclave.
