Wife of active-duty US soldier deported to Honduras under Trump crackdown

Cristy Maryori Villafranca-Trejo, wife of an active-duty US soldier, was deported to Honduras on Monday, according to her family and the Department of Homeland Security. She is at least the seventh spouse or parent of a serving soldier to be deported under Donald Trump's second-term immigration crackdown. The removals follow the rollback of protections previously granted to military families.
