Backdoor found in Slovak speed cameras: hidden modem and 12 Russian phone numbers

Slovakia's national security authority NBÚ found that "NERO R-ONE" speed cameras are actually Russian "CORDON PRO.M" devices made by Simicon. Inside were two 3G/4G modems — one undocumented — and a list of 12 Russian phone numbers invisible in the management panel. An SMS from those numbers with an eight-digit code could remotely control the devices.
