Frictional Games reveals ONTOS gameplay — unsettling PS5 horror title due in 2027

Frictional Games, the studio behind SOMA, debuted the first gameplay footage of its new IP ONTOS at Gamescom Opening Night Live. The PS5 title is due for release in 2027. The game presents players with moral dilemmas — including the option to sabotage the in-game Experiment entirely — with the developer warning that no choice comes without consequences.
