Dreame shuts down electric car project after government funding dries up
Chinese vacuum cleaner maker Dreame has reportedly shut down its automotive division, known as "Project Starry Sky," which once employed over 1,000 people. The project collapsed after government funding dried up. According to CarNewsChina, only a handful of legal and HR staff remain to handle the wind-down.
