At least 47 killed and 50+ kidnapped in gang attack near Haiti's capital

Armed gang members attacked the community of Kenscoff, nestled in the hills above Port-au-Prince, killing at least 47 people and kidnapping more than 50 others over the weekend. A gang leader has threatened to execute the hostages if authorities kill any gang members during efforts to retake the area. The UN described the assault as a massacre and homes were set ablaze during the attack.
