Waymo to begin mapping Munich streets, plans Germany service launch next year

Waymo, Alphabet's autonomous ride-hailing unit, will begin mapping the streets of Munich within the next few weeks. A commercial passenger service is planned to launch in Germany next year. The move marks Waymo's first step into the European market.
