Rare tornado devastates village of Pomas in southern France, injuring 39

A tornado of rare intensity struck the small village of Pomas in southern France on Tuesday, causing widespread destruction. At least 39 people were injured, including two severely. The mayor described the aftermath as resembling a "wartime" scene.
