Same-sex marriage transcript refused? You can appeal, but it gets complicated

Despite new document templates being introduced in Poland, some local officials have announced they will refuse to transcribe same-sex marriages contracted abroad into Polish civil registers. Applications can be filed at any civil registry office in the country. However, after a final refusal the legal situation becomes considerably more complicated.
