England to build over 70,000 social and affordable homes over the next 10 years

The British government has granted funding for the construction of more than 70,000 social and affordable homes across England over the next ten years. Funds have been allocated to Greater Manchester, West Midlands and West Yorkshire, with £6 billion earmarked for London. The programme is designed to address England's severe housing crisis.
