Up to 1.2 million young Germans not in work, education or training

Around 10 percent of Germans aged 20 to 24 are not in employment, education or training. Depending on the methodology used, that amounts to between 800,000 and 1.2 million young people. Experts warn the trend could worsen Germany's already serious labour shortage in the years ahead.
