Ziobro admits taking money from Kral, citing desperate financial situation of his circle
Former Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro admitted in an interview with Niezależna.pl that he accepted money from Sebastian Kral because his political circle was in a "dramatic" financial situation and needed funds to "fight the authorities." Ziobro claims he rejected a further transfer — suspected to be several hundred thousand złoty — in December after reports emerged that Kral's firm Zondacrypto may have sought to influence cryptocurrency market regulation. He acknowledged accepting earlier payments.
