TikTok fined $30 million in Brazil over children's data violations
Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) has fined TikTok $30 million for irregularities in processing data of children and adolescents. The penalty is the latest in a series of actions against the platform; ByteDance recently reached a settlement in a US court over allegations of collecting data from children under 13.
