Grzegorz Braun charged with publicly denying Auschwitz crimes

MEP and Confederation of the Polish Crown leader Grzegorz Braun has been charged with publicly and contrary to fact denying crimes committed at Auschwitz. The politician did not plead guilty but maintained his previous statements on the subject. He faces up to three years in prison. Braun described the charge as an attempt to silence him.
