Rare tornado devastates village in southern France

A rare tornado tore through the Aude department in southern France, devastating the small village of Pomas. The twister destroyed homes, the town hall and the local school, with the mayor describing the scene as a "wartime situation". Tornadoes are uncommon in this region of France.
