Ads for deepfake porn app ran freely on Facebook and Instagram

Advertisements for an application that places real people's faces into AI-generated sexual scenes ran on Facebook and Instagram. One ad featured a woman resembling a well-known American politician, followed by a deepfake pornographic clip with the same face. According to WIRED, Meta fails to adequately vet such ads despite them violating platform policies.
