Prosecutors seek to strip Hołownia and Koboska of immunity in Collegium Humanum scandal
Polish prosecutors have sent a draft motion to strip Sejm Speaker Szymon Hołownia and MP Michał Koboska of their parliamentary immunity. Both are set to face charges in the Collegium Humanum affair, exposed by Newsweek. The case poses a serious problem for the ruling coalition. A coalition politician said of Hołownia: "He immediately sees intelligence services, a conspiracy or a coup — and then wonders why it escalates."
