World sprint canoe championships open in Poznań with 850 athletes from 79 nations

The World Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe Championships opened on Wednesday at the Malta regatta course in Poznań. More than 850 athletes from 79 countries are competing, including Olympic medallists. The event runs over five days.
