First 28 K2 tanks arrive in Poland, headed for 16th Mechanised Division

Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz confirmed the arrival of the first batch of 28 K2 tanks ordered from South Korea. The vehicles will be assigned directly to the 16th Mechanised Division. The delivery is part of a large-scale Polish military modernisation programme that ultimately aims to transfer part of K2 production to domestic arms factories.
