Hungary: government reports suspected fraud in pandemic-era medical equipment purchases

Hungary's Foreign Ministry has filed a criminal complaint with prosecutors alleging fraud and other offences related to medical equipment purchases made during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Viktor Orbán led the government at the time of those procurement decisions. The case involves public contracts awarded during the peak of the health crisis.
