Babia Góra is treacherous — tourists underestimate the dangers

Babia Góra, known as the Queen of the Beskids, is drawing growing numbers of tourists, including those attempting sunrise ascents. Anna Arcikiewicz, the chief access specialist at Babia Góra National Park, warns that many visitors are unaware of how demanding and unpredictable conditions on the mountain can be. It is considered one of the most treacherous peaks in Poland.
