Tusk backs giving all tourism tax revenue to municipalities, not tourism board
Poland's Finance Ministry has clarified that the Polish Tourism Organisation currently receives no revenue from taxes or fees. A parliamentary bill had proposed directing part of the tourism levy to the POT, but Prime Minister Donald Tusk has backed giving all such income to municipalities instead. The ministry's statement came in response to a query from the Polish Press Agency.
