Nowacka to bishops: you have no right to interfere in school curricula

Education Minister Barbara Nowacka rejected an appeal by the presidium of the Polish Bishops' Conference regarding religious education lessons and mandatory health education, saying bishops try to "stir up a row" every year before 1 September. She stressed that the Church has no right to interfere in the school curriculum. Deputy Minister Katarzyna Lubnauer also commented on the dispute.
