Poland: registered unemployed rose to 906,000 in July, rate steady at 5.8%

According to Statistics Poland (GUS), 906,400 people were registered as unemployed at the end of July — up 0.5% from June and 9.1% higher than a year earlier. The registered unemployment rate remained at 5.8%, which is 0.4 percentage points higher than the same period last year.
