Jasna Góra to mark 70th anniversary of the National Vows in 2026

On 26 August 2026, Jasna Góra will host special celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the National Vows, first made at the same site. The text of the vows was written by Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński while he was interned by the communist authorities. Bishops and pilgrims will gather to commemorate this landmark event in the history of the Catholic Church in Poland.
