Ukraine marks independence day as Russia strikes Chernihiv, 18 injured

On Ukraine's 35th independence day, Kyiv was visited by the UK Prime Minister and the President of the European Council, among others. Meanwhile Russia launched three strikes on Chernihiv, less than 150 km from the capital, hitting a residential building and wounding 18 people.
