Polish judges to get nearly double the pay rise of other public sector workers — top court chief to earn over 57,000 PLN

As work on Poland's 2027 budget enters its final phase, judges are set to receive pay rises nearly twice as large as those for other public sector and uniformed service workers, who face only modest wage indexation. According to calculations by the daily "Fakt", Constitutional Tribunal president Bogdan Święczkowski's salary will exceed 57,000 PLN gross per month. The planned spending has drawn controversy given cuts elsewhere in the budget.
