Record European heatwave: 40.5°C in Słubice, 48.4°C in Sardinia

This summer is setting heat records across Europe. In Poland, Słubice recorded the highest temperature at 40.5°C. On the Italian island of Sardinia, thermometers reached 48.4°C — approaching the European record set in 2021.
