Polish energy regulator: electricity tariffs for 2027 may not rise despite costlier gas

Renata Mroczek, head of Poland's Energy Regulatory Office (URE), announced that energy companies will be asked to submit 2027 tariff calculations earlier than usual. She stressed that rising gas prices do not automatically mean higher electricity bills for Polish consumers next year. URE is also developing a new energy purchasing model for households and dynamic tariff options.
