India's Airbound raises $37M to deliver cargo with rocket-like drones

Indian drone delivery startup Airbound has secured $37 million in funding to scale its ultra-lightweight, rocket-shaped drone delivery system as an alternative to truck transport. The funding round was backed by Greenoaks, DoorDash and Silicon Valley investor Lachy Groom. The company aims to compete with road freight using its distinctive drone design.
