Polish government to lower flat-tax threshold — high-earning doctors face higher taxes
The Polish government plans to lower the income threshold for the flat-rate tax (ryczałt), a move that would hit the highest-earning doctors the hardest. Most physicians currently work on contracts and pay tax under the flat-rate system. The change would mean higher tax bills for those with the largest incomes, sometimes called "millionaire doctors."
