Nawrocki's vetoes to cost state budget over 8 billion zloty, Finance Ministry calculates

Six vetoes by President Karol Nawrocki could result in over 8 billion zloty less in budget revenues this year, according to Finance Ministry calculations obtained by "Rzeczpospolita". The most costly vetoes concerned a tax on windfall profits of fuel companies and excise duty on alcohol. The shortfall poses a significant challenge to the government's fiscal plans.
