US trial for Lockerbie bombing suspect postponed after new evidence discovered

A US federal judge has postponed the trial of a Libyan man charged in connection with the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. The postponement was ordered after new evidence was discovered in the case. The bombing killed 270 people and remains one of the deadliest aviation terror attacks in history.
