Zelensky calls on EU to speed up transfers to cover $27bn defence shortfall

Ukraine faces a $27 billion gap in its defence budget for this year. President Volodymyr Zelensky is demanding that the European Union accelerate financial transfers to Kyiv and has identified sources from which the West should fund the continued fight against Russia. Ukraine is urgently seeking ways to cover the massive shortfall.
